When we don’t acknowledge that God is with us in every situation we can become paralyzed by fear. This leads to helplessness. It renders people ineffective and causes them to be unable to live in the present. However, even when tragedy strikes God is still with us:
(Joshua 1:9) Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord you God is with you wherever you go.
(Isaiah 41:10) Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
(Psalm 73:23-24) Yet I still belong to you; you hold my right hand. You guide me with your counsel, leading me to a glorious destiny.
Being paralyzed is when you have the right equipment but you can’t use it.
The victim mentality comes in quickly and it names, claims and blames somebody for their condition. A victim sees what everyone else has done against them instead of looking at what God has done for them.
We can’t be witnesses on this earth if we’re paralyzed victims who aren’t saying anything. You just can’t be a witness when you’re paralyzed, victimized and not maximized. Like Esther, remember that you’re here as a witness no matter what and the kingdom is at hand and you don’t have time to be paralyzed by fear. Refuse to be victimized because it will cancel your call. Repent and know the kingdom is at your right hand. You have an inheritance in the purpose and plan of God. Get everything out of your life that is not causing you to walk right in the Lord and be bold in the Lord. Maximize your life!
