Unstoppable: When Obedience Refuses to Be Silent

“Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion.” — Philippians 1:6 NIV
There is something powerful that happens when you realize you are no longer who you were and you never will be again.
Growth has a way of making people uncomfortable. Especially when that growth doesn’t follow a predictable path.
A New Chapter Beyond a Respected Career in Education
For years, I walked a respected and stable road serving faithfully as a school principal, working in administration, pouring into students, families, and staff. It was meaningful work. Important work. But it wasn’t the final chapter God was writing for me.

When I stepped away from that career, it wasn’t because I lacked purpose—it was because God was expanding it. Leaving what was familiar to step into the publishing world felt “against the grain.” It didn’t make sense on paper. It didn’t come with guarantees. But it came with a clear nudge from the Lord.
The Journey: From Many Roles to Launching a Dream
Since then, I’ve worn many hats—editor, writer, instructor—and each role sharpened me, stretched me, and prepared me. And last year, after years of obedience and refinement, God opened the door for me to launch my own publishing company. Not because I had it all figured out, but because I trusted the One who does. “Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion.” — Philippians 1:6

FOUR BIBLICAL WAYS TO BE UNSTOPPABLE
1. Be Unstoppable in Obedience “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” — Proverbs 3:5
2. Be Unstoppable in Growth “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past.” — Isaiah 43:18 –19
3. Be Unstoppable in Perseverance “Let us not grow weary in doing good.” — Galatians 6:9
4. Be Unstoppable in Faith “Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,” says the Lord. — Zechariah 4:6
Often God works in us and through us when we allow courage to lead despite our shortcomings, fears, doubts, and inexperience. The Bible provides the blueprint for us to trust God as we read about others who overcame unbeatable odds to be unstoppable.
Prayer: Lord, thank You for the courage You place within us when we say yes to You. Teach us to walk boldly—even when the path is unfamiliar. Strengthen our obedience and renew our faith. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Your Turn: Reflection Questions: 1. Where is God asking you to trust Him beyond your comfort? 2. What season might you need to release? 3. What dream have you delayed? 4. What does obedience look like for you this year? Journal Prompt: “Lord, if fear were removed, I would step into…”

Thank you for sharing your journey, Katherine. I appreciate your perspective.
This is the message I needed to hear from the Lord for 2026! Thank you!
Beautiful message. Thank you for these encouraging words.
