"They will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well" (Mark 16:18 NKJV).
According to scripture, by the promises we have received from Jesus Christ, healing is our portion.
I’ve seen the power of prayer work wonders in the lives of many believers. One time I saw a lady come into a church with paralysis on the left side of her face. This paralysis was a complication due to a car accident, and all it took was a room full of praying Holy Spirit believers to walk in faith to lay hands on her. She left the service able to move every part of her face. I also have seen people walk in a church with crutches and walk out with the full ability to walk. There have been times when I’ve had friends enter an ICU in critical condition and walk out healed through prayer. This isn’t always the outcome for every health situation because of the complexity of spiritual variables. Still, it isn’t up to us to determine what instances should and shouldn’t warrant prayer. God’s ways and thoughts aren't our ways or thoughts even though sometimes we can get wrapped up in our own ways, thoughts, and even questions (Isaiah 55:8-9).
Sometimes healing happens instantly, and sometimes it happens over time. It all happens in God's divine timing, and when it happens, it allows us to see God’s grace shine in our own weaknesses. I think the disbelief of the ability for someone to be healed entirely is a part of the reason this is often preached but rarely seen. No faith from a believer quenches the Holy Spirits' ability to move on the earth. The lack of belief in God's words also quenches the Holy Spirits' ability to move on earth (Matthew 4:4). Ladies and gentlemen, it’s time we start to walk in the fullness of our authority. And believe me when I tell you, I’m preaching to myself!
Prayer: Jehovah- Rapha, Yeshua, Thank you for your presence at all times. Thank you for equipping us with all the tools we need to be prosperous on this earth. Healing in our bodies is our portion. Healing in our minds is our portion. Thank you for paying the price for us on that cross. Defeating the ultimate ailment, death, while granting us a chance to live free through your Holy Spirit. We believe that nothing is too hard for you God, so I pray that even now you will heal the person reading this. Whether it be physical or mental healing, let it be so according to their faith. We even ask that you stretch the faith of the person reading this to be able to walk in the fullness of who you called them to be. Supply their needs in abundance. We stand up against the Spirit of infirmity through the authority you have given us and we loose healing. We walk in power and destiny so that we may fulfil your plans on earth as it is in heaven. We worship you in spirit and in truth and walk in a garment of praise with our lives for your glory. Let your Glory shine through our weaknesses. Thank you, father, Amen.
