When I first met Angel Murchison on the phone, I was moved by her friendliness and down to earth manner. It was no surprise when Angel mentioned she was a talk show host as her voice is rich, wise, and professional. She lives in Presque Isle, Maine and is a speaker, writer and talk show host of Destiny Moments, her weekly radio broadcast.
Angel Murchison is also the founder of Healing Waters Women’s Ministry. It’s Angel’s desire to bring women all across this globe to the same healing waters she experienced, the healing waters of Jesus Christ. She believes God has a purpose and a plan for every life and prayer is vital to transforming our lives.
Angel is unafraid to share she’s a woman who knows firsthand the aftermath of abortion. Angel shares her journey to freedom from the shame and guilt she experienced from her past abortion and helps other women find that same freedom.
Angel’s book, Good Morning Beautiful People is a compilation of 365 devotionals written to bring daily doses of hope, healing, and inspiration.

When did you first realize you wanted to be a writer?
People would tell me they liked to hear me speak. Then they would tell me I had amazing stories. Some folks began asking for printouts of articles I penned.
How long does it take you to write a story/article/book?
I write an article usually in a half an hour every day. I first take time to pray and then write. I try to leave open an hour every morning or at least 5x a week.
What is your work schedule like when you're writing?
Usually early in the morning before work.
What would you say is your interesting writing quirk?
Real people with real issues and a real destiny. Inspirational
Where do you get your information and inspiration for your work?
My inspiration comes from God and his Word. It guides me for my daily experiences. I like to call them destiny moments or divine appointments.
When did you write your first story/article/book?
It has been a while. I believe in 2005. I wrote My Father’s Love, my first writing. 2019 My first book came out Good Morning Beautiful People, Angel’s Prayer of the Day
What do you like to do when you're not writing?
I love to do ministry, spend time with my family. I have 8 grandkids. (Blessings)
What does your family think of your writing?
They are positive about it.
What was one of the most surprising things you learned in creating your work?
That I really loved writing and inspiring people to be followers of Jesus Christ and his Word.
How many stories/articles/books have you written? Which is your favorite?
I penned a daily devotional book and have several others preparing for print. I also am preparing my own personal story. My favorite writing is He Calls Me Beautiful- Ashes No More....
Do you have any suggestions to help others become better writers? If so, what are they?
People like realness. Just be yourself with the gift God has placed within you and let him open the right doors. Don’t become discouraged and never give up. Submit all your work first to God and always give him the glory for the opportunities he provides.
Do you hear from your readers much?
Yes, I get feedback from my readers often.
What kinds of things do they have to say?
They say things like, your book was such an encouragement. Your real. You bring the Word of God alive. Sunshine on a cloudy day, etc.
Is there anything else you’d like to share about yourself?
I am a radio talk show host of Destiny Moments and I love to help people. I founded and organize a healing waters women's conference every year for women that need to touch the hem of his garment. I believe we all have greatness.
